OceanWest’s vision is to harmonize modern living with the natural landscape of Ucluelet. The architecture follows West Coast Contemporary design, which encourages structures to blend seamlessly with the environment.
Each home is carefully sited to respect the natural characteristics of the land, ensuring minimal disruption to the existing ecosystem.
Expanding Parks and Trails
Sustainability also means providing spaces where people can connect with nature. OceanWest is committed to developing a minimum of 48 acres of parks and trails.
This includes enhancing the Wild Pacific Trail and creating approximately 7 kilometers (4 miles) of looped paths that lead to breathtaking experiences such as pocket beaches, crashing surf, and ancient forests.
Green Space Conservation
In our effort to preserve the natural beauty of Ucluelet, OceanWest has designated over 20% of the development as protected parkland.
These green spaces will remain untouched, offering future generations access to nature while maintaining the ecological balance of the region. From untouched forests to carefully planned parks, green space is a fundamental part of our sustainable design.
