True to the character of Ucluelet, the community of OCEANWEST will blend into the landscape with earthy colours and natural materials. West Coast style homes and building designs will help maintain the grounded fishing village feel of the town.

OCEANWEST’s building scheme will ensure materials used and building styles will be in harmony with the surrounding forests and ocean. The entire community, covering 92.5 hectares (228 acres) will be low profile, with no buildings taller than three stories. More than 20 percent will be designated park land.
